How Do I Apply For The Cycle to Work Scheme?

1. Browse our website, give us a call or drop into our store to select the best electric bike to suit your needs.

2. To Receive a 'Sales Quotation' Please fill out one of our application forms which can be found at the bottom of each product page. (also found in the link below) we will need the following information:

Your Full Name: John Smith

Your Email Address: johnsmith@gmail

Your Phone Number: 087 1234 123

Name of your preferred Electric Bike Model: RSIII Pro

Your Employer Details: Dublin Bus / HSE / Dept of Education

Alternatively you can email us this information to sales@rks-ebikes.com

3. You will receive a 'Sales Quotation' or 'Sales Invoice' to your email account within 24 hours (Check your spam or promotions tab if you have not received the email) for your chosen electric bike.

4. Please submit the 'Sales Quotation / Invoice' to your employer, HR or payroll department along with any other internal Cycle to Work paperwork which may or may not be needed.

5. Once your application has been processed and we have received payment from your employer, we will contact you to arrange the collection or delivery of your Electric Bike.

6. Alternatively, if you receive an eCertificate/Voucher or a company Cheque please get in contact with us to arrange collection / delivery of your new RKS electric Bike!

What is the Cycle to Work Scheme?

The Cycle to Work Scheme is a Government incentive designed to give Employers the opportunity to offer their Employees big savings when purchasing an Electric Bike up to the value of €1,500 (any balance above this has to be paid by employee)

You can avail of the scheme once every four years for the purposes of primarily commuting to work. thereby contributing to lowering carbon emissions, reducing traffic congestion and improving your health and fitness levels.

How Much Can I Save?

Purchasing an Electric Bike for €1,499 ?

•If on the 40% tax rate you will pay roughly €750

•If on the 20% tax rate you will pay roughly €1,150

Purchasing an Electric Bike for €1,899 (limit €1,500) ?

•If on the 40% tax rate you will pay roughly €750 & €399 up front.

•If on the 20% tax rate you will pay roughly €1,150 & €399 up front.

How Do I Pay For The Bike?

Yourself and your Employer will set up a 'Salary Sacrifice' where the arranged repayment amount will be deducted from your gross salary (this means before income tax, PRSI, pension levies or Universal Social Charge are deducted).

These deductions can be made weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on your salary payment arrangement's. Your employer can also buy the bicycle on your behalf and not require you to pay for it.
